The hotel was well-decorated and clean, but there was an issue with ants in the kitchen after rain. The rooms were a little too warm for our liking, but we were promptly moved to another room. The service, especially by the lady serving breakfast, was very nice and professional. The location was better than expected and convenient for the activities we had planned. The dining experience turned out to be a cold grab-and-go, and there was a weird smell. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly service, but some room and dining issues.

Upon arriving, the hotel had a strange smell emanating from the main room, which was also uncomfortably warm for my liking. The service provided throughout my stay was exceptional, reaching the top floor of quality service. The location was convenient, albeit a bit small when it came to personal space. The dining experience, though not complimentary, allowed me to choose what I wanted to eat and pay as I wished. The Candlewood is definitely worth a stay for the friendly and helpful front desk staff.
